On January 17th, the PA Board of Education voted 11-0 in favor of the GCAs. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Board Chairman Karl Girton noted that opponents “can make their cases as the state Independent Regulatory Review Commission scrutinizes the proposal in the months ahead. The Board of Education is expected to take a final vote after the commission’s review.”
